Do you deliver to me?
We deliver our home-cooked meals to the following suburbs:

We offer a limited delivery area at this stage but hope to expand this in the future. If your suburb is not on this list please keep checking back to see if it has been added.
All delivery areas incur a delivery fee of $4.95.
When will I get my meals?
Meals are delivered on Friday of every week. Note: this is a new day owing to the increase in demand we have experienced owing to the COVID-19 situation.
Orders MUST be received by the previous Tuesday evening closing at midnight.
Meals can be ordered up to one month in advance of your preferred delivery date.
Can I order offline?
At this stage we can only take orders that are placed via our website.
If you have friends or family members who are not able to order online, please contact us at decodishes.melb@gmail.com as we might be able to organise alternative ordering arrangements.
Do I have to order a minimum amount?
You can order one or many meals at a time. The fee for each delivery will be $4.95 regardless of quantity ordered.
How do I store my meals when they arrive?
All meals are delivered fresh and have not been frozen. They can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days after delivery or they can be frozen immediately for up to 6 months.
Please ensure you read your storage and reheating instructions that will be included with your delivery.
Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?
We would love to hand-deliver our meals directly into our customers’ hands where possible but we understand that this is not always possible. We will advise customers of a 2 hour delivery window on the day of your delivery and we have often have a little bit of flexibility to ensure that your delivery is made at a convenient time.
However, if you are not going to be home for your delivery, we highly recommend you purchase a re-usable cooler bag so your deliveries will be kept cool. Please see FAQ – how does the reusable cooler bag arrangement work?
We also ask that if you live in a secure apartment complex that you specify a safe area to leave your meals or ask a neighbour to take collection for you.
Please note we also deliver to office / places of work so you can arrange for your delivery to be made to your place of employment.
How does the reusable cooler bag arrangement work?
If you purchase a Deco Dishes reusable cooler bag for $5, your meals will be delivered to you in this bag.
We highly recommend this if you will not be home at the time of your expected delivery so your meals are kept cool. This cooler bag is yours to own. If you leave this bag out for your next delivery, we will reuse it for your meals for that delivery. If you don’t have a cooler bag, your meals will be delivered in a box.
Can I buy gift vouchers?
Yes, we offer gift vouchers. You can purchase them from the Gift Vouchers section (https://decodishes.com.au/collections/gift-vouchers/products/gift-card) of our website and they can be delivered directly to your, or the recipient's, inbox.
Do you offer meals for people with special dietary requirements?
A number of our meals already cover dietary requirements. For example, our Brownie is Gluten Free, all of our soups are vegetarian, and we offer a vegetarian lasagne. We have also accommodated some special requests including low FODMAP and specific allergies.
If you do have a special dietary requirement that is not covered by the above, please get in touch with us via email, decodishes.melb@gmail.com, to see if we can assist. If we cannot accommodate your special request, we will point you in the direction of another specialist food provider who can help.
Why should I order from Deco Dishes?
Deco Dishes is a small business located in Melbourne's Bayside Suburbs. We offer a large range of classic comfort food in a range of sizes for single people, couples and families. Our meals are perfect to store in the freezer ready for those days when you don't want to cook. They can also be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days after delivery.
Our meals are made with fresh ingredients which are purchased on the same day as cooking. We also ensure that all of our fresh ingredients come from local sources, mostly from within Victoria.
We adapt our menu to suit the seasons while keeping the favourites available year round. Our meals are designed to be appealing to all family members, little ones and big ones alike.
